How do I receive CLE credit for the seminar?

At the end of the seminar you will complete a short 10 question True or False Post Test. Once completed you will receive an email confirmation / Certificate of Completion. The Registrar at TLI Online CLE also receives your confirmation and electronically files your completion on your behalf. YOU NEED DO NOTHING. CLE filings are done in a timely manner. Internet Explorer shows a blocked content information bar.

Some settings on Internet Explorer will show an information bar usually above the webpage warning that some content is harmful to your computer. Click on the bar and choose Allow Blocked Content from the pull down menu choices and the audio will begin to play.

 

How much is each course?

This year we are offering one one hour course and one two hour course. Each hour is $55.  The two hour course is $110.

 

How do I pay?

PayPal is one of the safest, most widely accepted ways to pay for your purchases on the Internet. It lets you use funds from either your bank account or credit card, and you can use it with confidence. Your transactions are protected by PayPal's sophisticated fraud prevention system.

 

What is the procedure?

1. Go to the Demo page and run the demos to see if your connection is compatible with the media streams. If the Broadband Stream Demo performs fine without hesitation, the course will perform the same. If you have choppiness and hesitation, then the media is too big for your connection. Try the Dialup stream which will provide the same instruction.
2. Then pick the course you would like to take from the Courses page. By clicking on the Buy Now button, you will be taken to the payment page. After payment, you will be returned to the specific course page.
3. Choose the format from the specific course page that you have determined to be suitable for your operating system and connection.
4.  Download the PDF text materials to print or view on your screen. Begin the media stream by clicking on the play button on the player.
5. After the course, take the ten question quiz for your Certificate of Completion and submission to the CLE Commission.

Will my Real Player play the streams?

We have provided all media in Windows Media Player format. Mac users with OS X and Windows Media Player installed may hear the streams. The streams are optimized for Windows Media Player and Real Player will not work.  Please try the media in the Windows Media Player, (our preference.) The latest Windows Media Player for Windows systems is available here.

What browsers are supported?

Our preference is Internet Explorer. Mozilla products and Netscape may have issues with active scripting portions of our website. If you experience problems, please use Internet Explorer.

Is my information safe and private?

Tennessee Law Institute will keep all information gathered from this site private and will not distribute information. The e-commerce section of the site is secured and information is encrypted  as evidenced by the padlock symbol at the lower right hand corner of your browser. Your information is completely safe.

My Windows Media Player is outdated. Where can I update to the latest version?

I can't open the Adobe PDF files.

Adobe's Reader is available free here:

 

The audio is choppy and stops frequently.

The media is streaming faster than your connection. Please choose the dialup media. If you are still experiencing problems, contact support@tlicletn.com .

I can't hear anything...

First, look for the obvious. Are your speakers on? Is your audio muted? Are the speakers hooked up? Is the volume up?
It is possible you may be using a very old version of Windows Media Player. Please update to the latest version for your operating system.

After I have paid for the media, how long do I have to view it?

After you pay for a course, the media will be available. If you have an interruption or need to return to the streams, you may bookmark the course page. If you have lost the link, please notify support@tlicletn.com and we can send you a link to return.  You will be notified that you have paid and will be returned to the streaming media.

Will you be offering more courses in the future?

Tennessee Law Institute is in its 34th year. We intend to provide live and online seminars as long as possible. While each course is timely, please check frequently with us for future course offerings.

If I have tried everything and want a refund, what do I do?

I can't get the demo to work.

It is possible that you are behind a firewall. Notify your system administrator. 

I can't send the Quiz results or a Comment.

The new Windows XP Service Pack 2 may have turned off active scripts in your Internet Explorer.  Under Tools / Internet Options / Advanced ...   make sure active scripting is allowed. For further help, contact support@tlicletn.com .
